 I watched a new film in Netflix last night – “I am a woman”- about when a stranger comes into our life. I was captivated from the moment it started. For me, it was full of meaning, and the story was delivered so well. Life can start badly, and be a series of ups and downs, and then we can meet a stranger who may make us happy, but you have to be careful who you trust – the road of life is not easy to travel, and the world is not fair. Helen Reddy was successful in her singing career, and though her husband had his own problem (he was a drug addict). In the early years of their marriage, he helped her – he was in the recording agency business, but as he got worse, she supported him financially through his problems. Eventually she split with her husband. You have to give up when you have had enough. She had to move on and take care of herself and her children. I identified with her character – women are strong and not afraid to speak the truth and give their opinions. We will listen to others, but we won’t allow other people’s problems to bring us down. When we are filled with kindness, generosity, compassion and integrity, we are vulnerable and can be taken advantage of, but we will always come through if we are true to ourself. Chelsea Cullen, meanwhile, sings new versions of Reddy's hits, and just to keep things in the family, there's a new tune sung by Reddy's granddaughter, Lily Donat. For those who don't know much more about Reddy than the lyrics to "I Am Woman," and perhaps "Delta Dawn" and "Ain't No Way to Treat a Lady," her story is actually pretty inspiring, at least in the early stages. Arriving in New York as a single mom in 1966, she crooned in lounges and scrounged to get by, striking up a friendship with music journalist Lilian Roxon ("Patti Cake$'s" Danielle Macdonald) before meeting Wald, who promised "I'll make you a star" and pushed for their move to L.A. Please share in Facebook  Say cheese :) Today, I want to share with you one of my achievements in 2020 - Being a mother is not an easy job, Training your child to pee in the toilet is a hard job for me. Cameron is 3 years old now, he's a good boy and smart boy but, when it comes to weeing in the toilet, when I ask him he will answer more No's than yes, hehe just doesn't bother at all - until now. My advice is: just don't give up! You 're not alone. Last year I always reminded him, even it's late, I still bring him to the toilet. Eventually he will mark your words and try his own way to please you, so don't give up! I will congratulate me and my husband in our efforts. Sometimes when daddy is lying down the couch he would make his legs wet, but that's a part of a challenge. At the end of December we started to see an improvement. He says to me "Mummy I want to pee in the toilet." I am a little bit shocked and so happy of course. Goodbye Diapers now! although when we go out I am still putting it on and night time just to be sure, I don't want to swim in the pee, Well done to us. I am very proud of all parents all over the world, and all the nannies who are helping other mummies with their children. God bless them. Now my cunning plan for this year is for him to read better/ I teach him the best I can especially this national lockdown, Cameron is really good at reading, even difficult words he can understand, he recently got t a reading award in his school. Anyway that's all I can think to share today!
