Lynnie 's journey
 I came to the UK in July of last year. I love it, apart from the cold winter! Instead of getting a job I decided to start my own business I'm still supporting my family in the Philippines. I have always loved craft making and dealing with people, so I set up a business making and selling candles, tee-shirts and mugs - all hand made to order. It is early days yet, but the business is doing very well and I am busy every day making customized things for for my customers. I have found that if you keep them happy, your customers will become your friends and come back for more. Now that we are in the Christmas season I am so busy it is difficult to fit all the work in, but it is fun. I sold 20 mugs this week so far 5 percent on it will go to a local charity for victims of the who typhoons in the Philippines. I'd like to thank all my friends who have supported me in this venture - I hope I can see you all again soon when the virus is over.
