Lynnie 's journey
The secret of a long life relationships. Today I am going to share about forgiveness,
Saying 'sorry' is important. We all do or say things we regret. Things that hurt other people and sometimes damage relationships. Often these things are said or done accidentally and we regret them soon after saying them. When we want to put things right, the first thing to do is to say 'sorry'. This may seem obvious, but many people have a problem with saying these words, maybe through pride, or through shame at what they've done, or maybe through fear that whoever they have wronged will not forgive them. It is important to learn to say sorry as quickly as you can - and to mean it. Then the other party will realize that you did not mean it and hopefully forgive you.
There are two other parts to an apology. Firstly, you cannot just say that you're sorry - you have to mean it - otherwise it's meaningless. The third part is offering to make amends for what you've done, if you can. Dealing with 'apology' issues are especially important in relationships which can be badly damaged if one party does not know how to be and to say sorry - If this is an issue for you, it's best to discuss this with your partner - so that you understand each other.
